Twitter is conspicuously absent, losing out not only to rival Facebook but also to foreign social networks and search engines like Tencent and Baidu.
Twitter only earns 26% of its ad revenue from abroad, which it might want to think about devoting more resources to. And from a usership perspective, Twitter is banned in certain payday countries like China.
Over the last six months, Twitter’s growth rate has visibly slowed. Ruh-roh.
