Target Now Lets You Print Your Facebook Photos Directly From In-Store Kiosks

Today, Target announced Social Network Connectivity at its KODAK Picture Kiosks in stores nationwide. Anyone visiting the massive retail outlet can now enter one of the booths and connect to Facebook or their KODAK Gallery accounts, select and print photos directly from the web. This is a convenient offering, as Facebook users can now print their photos spur-of-the-moment, rather than loading up a USB with pre-selected images. Check out all of the features that these new kiosks offer below.

With such a large chain offering this service, we’re likely to see more Facebook photos make it off the computer screens and onto photo paper in the near future.

The KODAK Kiosks allow users to log onto their Facebook accounts and browse their albums, selecting photos they would like to print. This easy-to-use interface means that most Facebook users – regardless of their other web or computer skills – will be able to access and print their photos with little hassle.

Not only are Target visitors able to print their photos onto traditional photo paper, but they can also access a wide range of other products including KODAK photo books, calendars, greeting cards, picture movie DVDs, collages and more.

Nicoletta Zongrone, general manager Retail Systems Solutions and vice president, Eastman Kodak Company has this to say about the updated photo booths:

“Today’s Web-savvy consumers want to access their favorite online photos anytime, anywhere, and adding Social Network Connectivity to our KODAK Picture Kiosks gives them an exciting, creative avenue for sharing those photos in fantastic print creations. We’re proud to partner with a retailer like Target that truly understands the needs of their guests in today’s digital world.”

The ease with which consumers will now be able to shop for holiday gifts while printing off personalized holiday greeting cards from one of their Facebook photo albums makes this a very attractive combination. Do you see yourself using a KODAK Kiosk at Target for the upcoming holiday season?
