Facebook and Instagram social shopping service Soldsie announced Tuesday that users of e-commerce platform Magento now have access to its features via the Soldsie Enterprise Edition extension for Magento, which is available as a free download via the Magento Connect extensions marketplace.
Soldsie allows retailers and other brands to post product photos, prices and available quantities on Facebook and Instagram, where users can comment with the word “sold” and not have to leave the social network they are accessing. The items are placed into those users’ shopping carts so they can complete the transaction.
Magento users who wish to take advantage of the integration with Soldsie must sign up on the Soldsie site and install the extension.
