Turkey to Facebook: Block Pages That Insult Prophet Mohammad (SocialTimes)
A court in Turkey ordered Facebook to block several pages that it deemed insulting to the Prophet Mohammad, threatening to block access to the social network if it does not comply, Reuters reported. According to Reuters, via state broadcaster TRT, the court order followed a request by a prosecutor. The Next Web The decision follows another court ruling earlier this month which ordered news sites that published the cover of Charlie Hebdo featuring a cartoon of Mohammed to be blocked.
