Skype To Let Users Send Each Other 3-Minute Video Messages

Skype has begun testing a new feature allowing users to send short video messages to contacts that aren’t available to chat. According to Ina Fried of AllThingsD, the Microsoft-owned VoIP and chat service has already started allowing select users to send short video messages, up to three minutes in length.

Fried reports that, “Starting Friday, those with the latest version of Skype for either Mac, Android or iOS can send the messages (users of Skype on other platforms can still receive video messages).”
