RIAA Brings in 'Big Gun' Lawyer
Remember the RIAA’s case about how simply uploading a track to a P2P site meant that someone broke the law and owes damages, even though they have no proof that any illegal activity occurred? Slashdot reports that the judge ultimately realized that he had been misled by the RIAA in issuing his jury instructions, and indicated that he’s probably going to order a new trial.
