Flayvr Media’s Flayvr photo gallery app was recently highlighted as one of the Best Apps of 2013 on Google Play, but that hasn’t stopped the development team from updating the experience even more with new functionality for photo buffs. Flayvr organizes users’ photos and videos into interactive albums, and now offers a shared timeline view, among other new features.

Flayvr 2.0 on Android categorizes images based on locations or events, like weddings, parties or simple walks in the park, and now allows users to share those albums with others privately.

Users receive notifications when they’ve been given new albums to browse, and all shared albums are now accessible from any device thanks to the app’s Shared Timeline view. Finally, Flayvr has been updated to support Android’s Daydream feature, so photos can be used as screensavers when an Android device is idle.

Flayvr is also available on iOS devices, and was recently updated with native iPad support. Regardless of platform or device, the app also allows users to share entire moments to email, Google+, Twitter, Facebook and more for instant viewing outside of the app.

Flayvr is available to download for free on iOS and Google Play. Check back soon to follow the app on AppData, our tracking service for mobile and social apps and developers.
