Facebook Hires Magistrate Judge as Deputy General Counsel

Re/code reported that U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul Grewal, who had been working out of federal court in San Jose, Calif., is joining Facebook as deputy general counsel in charge of litigation.
According to Re/code, Grewal will report to general counsel Colin Stretch and start at the company in late June.
Prior to becoming a judge, Grewal worked at law firms Pillsbury Madison & Sutro and Day Casebeer Madrid & Batchelder, and he served as a law clerk to Federal Circuit appeals court judge Arthur J.
