New York Magazine Uses Broadcast Upfront Issue to Plug Vulture

The issue of New York Magazine that hit the newsstands Monday is using its coverage of the broadcast networks’ upfront presentations to advertisers to promote complementary coverage in its Vulture online entertainment destination.

The print issue features New York TV critic Emily Nussbaum, editor at large Adam Sternbergh, writer and TV producer Michael Hirschorn, and entertainment journalist Mark Harris.

New York
said street teams will distribute an extra print run of 10,000 copies with special Vulture cover wraps at the upfront presentations in the hopes of steering advertising and media executives toward the site’s comprehensive upfront coverage from newly hired TV reporters Joe Adalian and Willa Paskin, including the new lineups, reviews of the presentations, behind-the-scenes reports, and nightly upfront party reports.
