Event-tech company Moment.me has announced its latest funding of $1.65 million from initial investors Singtel Inov8 and Blumberg Capital, along with a new European fund. This brings the company’s total funding to over $3 million.
Moment.me offers event organizers access to mobile microsite creation, with microsites that can be set up in minutes, without coding knowledge. These mobile sites give prospective event attendees a “one-stop-shop” for information about real-world events, removing the need to visit multiple sites or services to purchase tickets, or simply find addresses.
This new funding will allow Moment.me to build on the success of its app, which provides SmartGalleries for aggregating all status updates, tweets, videos, photos and more related to a single event, into one space. It will also be used to expand the company’s marketing and advertising efforts, and accelerate the growth of its microsite creation service.
“This new service doesn’t only appeal to event organizers, it’s also the perfect solution for SMBs who want to maximize the impact of a company event to serve their business goals,” said Moment.me CEO and Co-Founder Ronny Elkayam. “Launching this new service is only the first step in the evolution of Moment.me as a company, and we’re excited to start expanding to new markets.”
According to the company, Moment.me is growing at a rate of 15,000 new users per day. More infomation on its app and microsite creation services is available on the company’s website.
