iTunes now available in 32 more countries — Developers can now sell iOS apps in 32 more countries. Apple now offers more than 150 different app stores. The new countries are:

Unity 4 engine unveiled — Unity has taken the covers off the latest version of its popular game development engine. Mobile focused improvements to the engine include real-time shadows, skinned mesh instancing and a refined GPU profiler.

Wooga drops HTML5 development — Technical issues and low player interest have caused Wooga to step back from its HTML5 development plan. According to the Wooga’s official blog, the company’s HTML5 game Magic Land garnered fewer than 35,000 installs a day at its peak, and had just a 5 percent retention rate.

Tencent buys stake in Epic Games — Chinese internet services giant Tencent has bought a minority stake in Infinity Blade developer Epic Games reports Develop. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

PlayHaven partners with GameSalad – Mobile monetization platform PlayHaven’s SDK is now integrated into code-free game development platform GameSalad as part of a new partnership the two companies announced this week. The deal gives PlayHaven access to GameSalad’s network of over 350,000 developers.

My Little Pony goes mobile — Gameloft has announced it will creating iOS and Android games based on My Little Pony and the Littlest Pet Shop, as part of a new licensing deal with Hasbro.

Tapjoy signs up Kabam — Kabam is the latest game developer to sign up with Tapjoy. Kingdoms of Camelot players can now earn free in-game currency by interacting with Tapjoy’s ads. Tapjoy reports it has doubled its daily active users on iOS since the beginning of the year. Kingdoms of Camelot was the top grossing iOS app this week.

Peter Thiel launches $402 million Mithril fund — Noted investor Peter Thiel has launched a new, $402 million fund called Mithril reports TechCrunch. The fund will invest in late-stage, privately held companies.

[Launch] DoubleDutches launches Pride — Enterprise productivity app developer DoubleDutch has launched an internal collaboration app called Pride. Unlike the the company’s other products, Pride is a free service.

[Funding] Index Ventures raises additional €350 million — European venture capital firm Index Ventures has announced a new €350 million ($442 million) fund for early stage Seris A and B investments.

[Funding] Todacell brings in $2 million in additional funding — London-based mobile advertising network Todacell has raised $2 million in funding from existing investors AfterDox. The new round brings the company’s funding to $4.35 million in total.

[Funding] Burst nets $3.5 million for photo and video sharing app — Burst, a photo and video sharing app marketed for families, has closed a $3.5 million round of funding from angel investors including Boston Red Sox owner Tom DiBenedetto, reports TechCrunch.

[Funding] CloudOn raises $16 million Series B — Mobile productivity app developer CloudOn has raised at $16 million round of Series B funding. Social+Capital ead the round, with participation from Translink Capital and existing investors Foundation Capital and Rembrandt Venture Partners. As part of the deal Social+Capital general partner Mamoon Hood has also joined CloudOn’s board.
