What’s For Dinner? Facebook Makes It Easier For Restaurants To Add Menus To Their Pages

By David Cohen

Menu650Nothing tells potential diners about restaurants as effectively as their menus do, so Facebook announced an easier way for restaurants in the U.S. and Canada to add their menus to their pages via the SinglePlatform online listings service from email marketing provider Constant Contact.

Facebook said in a post on its Facebook for Business page:

When looking for a great meal, people often turn to Facebook to find a restaurant’s location, hours of operation, and menu. That’s why, beginning today, we’re making it easier for restaurants worldwide to display one of their most important assets directly on their Facebook page — their menus.

In the U.S. or Canada, restaurant pages can now upload menus through SinglePlatform from Constant Contact, an online listings service that helps local businesses connect and engage with consumers by showcasing menus, products and services, photos, specials, and more. If you already work with SinglePlatform for your other menu needs, your menu will automatically be added to your restaurant’s page.

If you are outside of the U.S. or Canada, or don’t currently work with SinglePlatform, you can upload a PDF of your menu. On your page, go to settings → page info → menus.
