Mark Zuckerberg Will Testify at Government’s Trial vs. Paul Ceglia

The trial is set to begin Nov. 17, according to Reuters.
Ceglia is facing fraud charges for allegedly forging a 2003 contract with Zuckerberg that entitled him to one-half of Facebook. He filed a civil suit against Zuckerberg in 2010, which was dismissed in March. For much more on Ceglia’s suit against Zuckerberg, click here.
Ceglia was charged with wire fraud and mail fraud in October 2012.
According to Reuters, at a hearing Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter Jr. denied a request by Ceglia’s lawyers for warrants for Zuckerberg’s records from 2003 through 2004 for his cellular phones, email accounts and bank accounts, claiming that the request was overly broad, and Carter also denied a bid for access to Zuckerberg’s email account from Harvard University, as well as any possible disciplinary records against him by the university for unauthorized use of its computer system.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Christopher Frey said at the hearing in New York Federal Court before Carter, as reported by Reuters:
(Zuckerberg is) a witness that the government 100 percent knows it will be calling at trial.
