Facebook dipped into the daytime TV ranks, as Liz Wasden, show publicist for “Katie,” Katie Couric’s syndicated talk show, announced via email that she will join the social network’s communications team in New York.
Wasden said in an email last Friday:
Today is my last day as the show publicist for “Katie.”
I’m joining the Facebook communications team, based in New York, and will send updated contact information once I am settled in there.
