Here’s a Social Network That’s Just For Family . . . Called JustFamily

By Mary C. Long

If you’re sick of the nonstop political posts and game requests on Facebook and just really want a way to stay in touch with your family – you’ll love this new site: JustFamily.

And even if you’re happy with Facebook and want to still use it to keep up with friends, rather than worrying about horrifying distant loved ones with your OWN nonstop political posts and game requests, herding em over to this new site might be just the thing you didn’t even know you were looking for!

Why even check this site out? “Because family needs its own place,” of course:

There are lots of ways to share “what’s happening now” with friends and the world. But family is different. Family is the only social circle that cares about the past, the present and the future.

And here are some highlights:

Grandma doesn’t need to figure out a new platform – neither does Grandpa. JustFamily “automatically delivers memories right to Grandpa’s inbox. He can reply to comment and there’s nothing new to learn.”

It gives you clear audience-filtering options:

AND it’s also a Family Tree!

It’s pretty super-fantastic, really. The interface is very clean and intuitive – and you can post anything you would post on Facebook and more (you can also post audio files). The hardest part about the platform would be convincing loved ones to sign up (hopefully this post helps you with that).

And here’s their promotional video to show how it looks in action:

Will you be joining JustFamily? See you there (if you’re a member of my family)!
