Infographic: Mobile Daters More Likely To “Hook Up” Than Online Daters

Looking for some dating action?  According to a new infographic from and SNAP Interactive, 61 percent of Are You Interested singles believe that they are more likely to “hook up” on a mobile dating app than an online dating site.  With over 1.3 billion mobile phones sold around the world, it’s never been easier to connect with people nearby—be it for love or just a hook up.

According to more than 50,000 singles that were surveyed, 4 out of 5 people now prefer mobile dating sites to the online dating alternatives.  On alone, 600online dating profiles get viewed each minute and users, on average, look at more than 20 online dating profiles a day.  And the most surprising statistic—nearly half of daily active users have three or more dating sessions per day!

Mobile dating has definitely got the benefit of accessibility.  With traditional dating sites, users can’t really browse other users when they’re at work or on the go.  Mobile dating lets you look for a potential mate (or hook up) no matter where you are.
