Glu Mobile Partners with Kendall and Kylie Jenner for Upcoming Mobile Game

Following the massive success of Kim Kardashian: Hollywood on mobile and Facebook (pictured), Glu Mobile has announced its partnership with Kendall and Kylie Jenner for the development of a new mobile title. Kendall and Kylie’s likenesses were previously featured in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, with this game expanding on the lives of the fashion personalities.

The upcoming title will feature the likenesses and voices Kendall and Kylie Jenner, with the pair also having creative influence on the game’s development. Players will be able to engage with the sisters as their own digital mentors, with the game helping players reach their “creative and career aspirations.”

In a statement, Glu Mobile CEO, Niccolo de Masi, commented on the partnership:

Kendall and Kylie Jenner bring a tremendous amount of brand power and social impact to an audience largely untapped by the gaming industry. We are pleased to partner with them over the 5-year contract term. We expect that their creative input along with Glu’s expertise in the celebrity-based mobile gaming genre will produce an experience that resonates with Kendall’s and Kylie’s more than 72 million social followers around the world. With the addition of Kendall and Kylie to our portfolio, by the end of 2015 Glu’s celebrity gaming platform will be supported by more than 300 million total social followers.

Those social figures were determined by combining follower accounts across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, with the acknowledgment some fans may overlap. For Glu’s total, the figure was determined by combining the followers of Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian-West and Katy Perry, as of March 2015. The company announced it would develop a Katy Perry mobile game in early February.

The Kendall and Kylie Jenner mobile game is expected to release on iOS and Android devices in late 2015. Check back soon for more.
