GetGlue Hopes New iPad App Is Sticky
iPad owners can now GetGlue, as the entertainment-based social network released its app for the Apple tablet, along with announcing exclusive awards from showbiz partners Fox, HBO, Showtime, PBS, and Universal Pictures.
GetGlue allows users to check in to shows, music, movies, and books they are consuming, earning points and stickers, as well as to rate their favorites and receive suggestions. The iPad app adds the ability to share check-ins via Twitter and Facebook; see friends’ check-ins; and view favorites on the go.
