Casino game developer GameSpring has launched its latest title on Facebook: Baccarat Online 3D. While gamers are probably used to the many slot machine and poker games on Facebook, baccarat might still be an unfamiliar product. Initially, Baccarat Online appears to only be a game for experienced pros, but a click of the menu’s “Help” button reveals a tutorial for how to play the game.
In Baccarat Online 3D, players join tables of other real-world gamers, and bet virtual chips on either the player or the banker. Whichever achieves a point total closest to nine wins, and players receive their winnings, where applicable.
The game’s scoring system counts cards from two to nine as their face value. Aces are worth one, and 10 and face cards are worth nothing. In addition, a combination of cards that add up to ten is eliminated, leaving behind whatever is left over as the final score. With additional rules, the game is definitely more complicated than your average card game, but the tutorial is there if you need it.
While playing, gamers can choose from a variety of text hotkeys to post messages like “hello,” “nice” or “hurry up.” Users can also follow other players and add them as friends, without adding them as Facebook friends. When those friends are playing an active game, users can join them immediately, if there’s room at their table.
Baccarat Online 3D is a revamped version of the original game Baccarat Online, released in 2012. It’s available to play for free on Facebook, and is also available on iOS and Android devices.
