French President's Facebook Page Hacked

French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Missouri legislator, Rep. Donna Lichtenegger say their Facebook pages were recently compromised.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy and U.S. Congresswoman Donna Lichtenegger of Missouri say their Facebook pages were recently compromised.

Sarkozy said his Facebook page got hacked with a status update saying that he won’t seek re-election in 2012. He told his fans he was hacked Monday, “perhaps to remind me that no system is infallible,” according to The Associated Press. He hasn’t formally announced whether he’ll run again or not.

For Lichtenegger, the hacker allegedly posted an embarrassing status updates on her page last Thursday, saying (spelling and punctuation intact), “I love lobbyist! All the free food and stuff you get.
