Foursquare Launches Halloween Badges
Foursquare launched on Friday badges that users can earn from holiday check-ins. Users who include "Happy Halloween" in a check-in will get a pumpkin badge. The location-based social network promises "an extra treat" for those who check in with more than 10 other people. There's a separate badge -- an alarm clock with a spider web on it -- for those who trick and treat on Halloween proper, instead of over the weekend.
