Facebook Puts New Message Prompt At The Bottom Of Screen

Previously, when Facebook users wanted to start new messages, the prompt was an overlay that took over the entire screen. Now it appears that the social network is testing a way to remove the clutter and put new messages down at the bottom of the screen with the rest of users' chats.

Previously, when Facebook users wanted to start new messages, the prompt was an overlay that took over the entire screen. Now it appears that the social network is testing a way to remove the clutter and put new messages down at the bottom of the screen with the rest of users’ chats.

When users begin new conversations by clicking on the message icon on the top bar, a new mini window will open up on the bottom of the screen, where chat conversations are usually held.
