Facebook announced three updates to its stand-alone Moments application: joinable moments, favorites and full-resolution photo storage.

The social network introduced Moments in June 2015, and the app was propelled by Facebook’s announcement last December that it was eliminating photo syncing and moving backed-up images to Moments.

Facebook provided details on the three new features in an email to SocialTimes:

The Moments app now features joinable moments, so you can easily create a moment and send it to anyone you want to join and add photos—those who don’t have the Moments app can see the photos on the web, making it easier to instantly share a moment with more people.
