Facebook Adding Footer Ads?
It appears that Facebook may be adding another advertisement to their site under the new design. In the process of debugging an application on Facebook, Zvi Band stumbled across an interesting component found by leveraging Firebug’s element inspector. There is a div marked as “footer_ad” at the bottom of the page. Currently the size of the div does not appear to be any standard advertisement size though.
Does this mean that Facebook is definitely putting advertisements in the footer? Not necessarily but it could be a good indication of what’s to come.
