The Humane Society is marking the milestone on its Facebook page by:
- Hosting a special video from Chief Executive Officer Wayne Pacelle, thanking fans for being part of its Facebook community;
- Asking pet owners to share stories about and photos of their pets in an effort to find one million reasons why we love the critters;
- Providing a mobile-friendly way to upload photos for the initiative above; and
- Giving discount coupons to its online store for every Facebook user who submits photos.
