Facebook has won the battle of the social networking sites almost everywhere except Brazil and India where Google-owned Orkut is still a force to be reckoned with. But now Facebook has made a tactical move aimed at Orkut users in those two countries.

Facebook has won the battle of the social networking sites almost everywhere except Brazil and India where Google-owned Orkut is still a force to be reckoned with. But now Facebook has made a tactical move aimed at Orkut users in those two countries.

Technolicious reports that Facebook is now allowing Orkut users only to link their account to Facebook. Some reports suggest that this is available only for Orkut users in Brazil and India but that’s not evident from the “Link Your Facebook Profile With Orkut” page.
