Occasionally, Facebook will poll a user on content within News Feed after they’ve engaged with it. A reader for sister site AllFacebook noticed that the site asked “How authentic does this post feel?” It then gave the options to rate from “Not at all” to “Extremely.”
Facebook has been trying to improve the News Feed experience for users with an aim at keeping the ads vs. user experience balance just right. The social network has given many users a survey about the content that they see every day (some users recently got a follow up survey), and has polled them about the relevance of posts.
Now, on this post from a page, Facebook asked how authentic it is. Facebook could be trying to weed out false pages, which pop up around popular topics or people.
