Dropify Aims To Make File Publishing Via Facebook A Social Activity

By David Cohen

The Facebook file-publishing-application sector just welcomed another member in the form of Hike Social Apps’ new Dropify offering, which integrated with Facebook’s open graph to allow for more robust sharing capabilities.

Dropify allows users to make files available for download via Facebook, and to share their uploading and downloading activities via their timelines and news feeds.

Facebook users can also comment on Dropify posts, as well as follow users who upload files. Dropify is also fully compatible with mobile devices.

Hike Social Apps Co-Founder and CEO Chris Striepecke said:

Dropify changes the game of file downloads. We provide a fun way for people to both publish and discover awesome free files. We make files social.

We want artists, brands, and other file owners to publish their digital giveaways via Dropify, to give them the kind of recognition their work deserves. They may also ask people to like their Facebook pages whenever they feel their download has a special value to it. It is a great way to grow your fan base.
