Digital Restructuring at HarperCollins

HarperCollins sent around a pair of internal memos today about some big restructuring on its digital fronts. According to the memos, HarperCollins will form two new entities: the Digital Technology Services Group and HarperCollins Digital. This news follows hot on the heels of the rumor that HarperCollins is in talks with Apple to produce tablet content.

Here’s more from our sibling blog GalleyCat:

HarperCollins Digital will contain three separate teams: author services, consumer products, and business development.
