Controversy Continues Over Stolen Twitter Documents

Documents stolen from Twitter by a hacker have been causing quite a stir in the blogosphere, with sites including TechCrunch and Silicon Alley Insider publishing some of the juicy details. And all of this has left Twitter co-founders Biz Stone and Evan Williams in salty moods.

Responding to Erick Schonfeld from TechCrunch, who wrote, “It’s important to note that we have been given the green light by Twitter to post this information—They aren’t happy about it, but they are able to live with it, they say,” Stone wrote on the company blog, “The publication of stolen documents is irresponsible and we absolutely did not give permission for these documents to be shared.”
