Americans binged on digital devices and media this holiday season, according to data released today by Flurry and Amazon.

On Christmas Day, 17.4 million Android and iOS devices were activated, according to Flurry, a mobile analytics provider. Tablets, which usually account for 1 in 5 activations, accounted for just over half.
