How do you get your video to go viral? Brands and agencies around the globe have devoted their lives to discovering the answer to this question and now, Toronto-based agency John St., the agency that brought you Catvertising, has come up with a solution—Buyral!
In a hilarious video parody, the company introduces this awesome service that guarantees you’ll go viral through a “network of professionals” from interns to the elderly and even kids who are “working day and night, constantly clicking on your videos.” And the best part? It only costs $59.99 for 25,000,000 views!
Of course, Buyral isn’t the real deal (YouTube’s got their own system of checks in place to ensure that click-fraud doesn’t infiltrate their site), but Tim Nudd of AdFreak hits the nail on the head when he says, “Whatever real work [John St.] may or may not do for actual clients, this is one agency that knows a thing or two about viral, minus the buy part.” The video has racked up just over 74,000 views so far, but is seeing a surge in viewership today and is bound to rack up a lot more views, even without the help of elderly clickers in the background!
