With the upcoming Easter holiday, it’s no surprise RoyalCactus’ Bunny Maniacs is growing in popularity on Facebook. The level-based puzzle game has over 368,000 monthly active players on Facebook, according to our app tracking platform AppData. In Bunny Maniacs, players combine elements to form new items, in a format similar to that found in Triple Town, as one example.

Bunny Maniacs offers over 100 levels across three gameplay types. In the game’s basic recipe mode, played are asked to create specific elements, and can do so by placing ingredients next to each other on the board. When the right number of ingredients are touching, they fuse into something else.

In addition to recipe levels, players are challenged in pollution levels, which see squares of black mud placed on the board. This mud is removed by making a match on top of those muddy squares. Finally, the gardening mode asks players to harvest vegetables by making matches that touch garden patches on the board.

Each level has a move limit and minimum score requirement, and players lose a life when they run out of moves before completing a stage’s tasks. Gamers also earn up to three stars on each stage, and can repeat levels to increase their high scores and earn more stars.

Eventually, players unlock power-ups, like a shovel for removing symbols from the board. They can also purchase permanent boosts, which may increase the number of moves they’ll have on each stage going forward, or increase their maximum number of lives.

Bunny Maniacs is available to play for free on Facebook. Check back soon to follow the game on AppData, our tracking service for mobile and social apps and developers.
