British Library Launches Mobile App

Libraries have always made literary treasures available to the public, but mobile devices are now broadening their reach. Today the British Library has opened its popular Sir John Ritblat Treasures Gallery to the world with a mobile application called Treasures. Readers can access Galileo’s letters, Leonard Da Vinci’s notebooks, and a first edition of Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and other works from the iPhone, Android, iPod Touch or iPad.
