Source: Expect Facebook Application Growth To Return

While Facebook has been in an ongoing battle to weed out the app developers that make “viral applications” just for the sake of being viral, as killing off spammers and hackers, sources in the company tell us that developers can expect growth to return once again. The details of the new program(s) are limited at this point however our source tells us despite changes which killed much of the virality in order to maintain a positive user experience, the company is working on new ways to reward developers.
