The NFL's Top PR Staff Belongs to the Pittsburgh Steelers

Consider this another Pittsburgh Super Bowl win.

Get out those terrible towels, Steelers fans!

According to the Pro Football Writers of America (via USA Today) your favorite football team has something better than the product on the field: the team that gets that product discussed in the news.

Known as the Pete Rozelle Award (named after the NFL’s beloved commissioner from 1960-1989), this distinction is given to “the club public relations staff that consistently strives for excellence in its dealings and relationships with the media.”

FUN FACT: Before Rozelle became the big cheese in the NFL, he was in the PR department for the Rams.
