Evian has chosen Syndicate Media Group as its U.S. AOR handling public relations and social media work. According to the press release, the RFP included three other firms who were asked how they would have operated given a set of real Evian initiatives. Or, they were asked to propose new campaigns. Syndicate chose the latter. The firm will be working with the other Evian agencies — MKG, MPG/Mediacontacts, and Euro RSCG — and work will begin in the fourth quarter.
The Girl Scouts have chosen Edelman to lead its centennial PR efforts in 2012. The firm’s work will include media relations, consumer engagement, social media and issues management surrounding topics of importance to girls. The online initiatives will have a shelf life through 2013. CRT/tanaka will continue as AOR for the Girl Scouts providing crisis counsel and helping with centennial efforts.
Susan Magrino Agency has been named AOR for Farrow & Ball, a British wallpaper and paint company. The company is based in Dorset, England. Work began August 1.
The Autism Research Institute (ARI) has chosen Fineman PR to increase the organization’s visibility and spread its message, “Autism is treatable.” Work will also include media outreach and promotion of ARI’s biannual conferences.
