Moving company Atlas Van Lines has chosen Indianapolis-based Dittoe Public Relations as its AOR. The firm has previously worked with the company, touting a Wall Street Journal placement that it says led to new business in the press release announcement.
Gutenberg PR will once again serve as the official PR partner for the ad:tech New Delhi conference, focused on digital advertising and marketing. The event will take place February 22 through February 24, 2012.
Nancy J. Friedman Public Relations has four new clients. As AOR for Fodor’s Travel, the firm will promote the company’s guidebooks and spokespeople. The firm will provide services for Pod 39, a Manhattan hotel. This is the second location for Pod Hotel, which NJFPR previously worked with. And the firm will be working with two hotels in San Juan, Puerto Rico: Condado Vanderbilt and Copamarina Beach Resort and Spa.
Workhouse will be promoting the new OWS album, “Occupy This Album: A Compilation of Music By, For and Inspired by the Occupy Wall Street Movement and the 99%.” The firm will conduct media relations and create a campaign that includes special events and concerts. The album will be out this winter and will include songs from Crosby Stills & Nash, Lucinda Williams, and Jackson Browne. The firm has actively shown its support for the protest movement over the past few months.
PRWeek reports that the Arkansas Department of Health is looking for a firm to handle its Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program, which has a $1.3 million budget. RFPs are due Jan. 20, 2012 and the decision will be made February 24. Work will begin July 1.
