Roll Call: Weber Shandwick, the Dubai International Festival PR Jury, and More

Prior to joining Weber, Berg ran her own firm, Partners for Our Children, a public/private partnership with the University of Washington. During the course of her 25-year career, she's worked with clients including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Pacific Health Summit. Richard Millar, CEO of Hill + Knowlton Strategies UK has been named the president of the first-ever PR Jury at the Dubai International Advertising Festival, taking place March 4 through 7. Submissions are now being accepted here. Alison Thompson has been named VP at Boston's Solomon McCown. She was previously a senior account supervisor working with real estate, corporate, financial, consumer, and professional service clients. Her new role will have added operational responsibilities for the firm. Scott Samson has joined MWW Group as VP in the energy, sustainable solutions, and cleantech practice based in Los Angeles. Samson was previously a senior consultant at Geltz Communications where he worked with clients including Con Edison in New York. Tech firm Max Borges Agency has added two execs: Andrew Ryan, director of enterprise technology PR and Pedro Mucciolo, director of Latin American tech PR. Ryan comes to the firm with a dozen years of B2B experience. And Mucciolowas previously the head of press and marketing comms for the E.U. in Nicaragua. Dennis Dougherty has joined public affairs and strategic marketing firm Resolute Consulting as director of new media. He'll manage social media efforts for corporate and nonprofit clients.
