'House Of Cards' Has Its Own Rebuttal For The SOTU
The Netflix program had its response around the same time that the Republicans were delivering theirs.
Just the other day, we were talking about brands jumping on Twitter to capitalize on the Grammys. (Hey Arby’s!) Well, it’s not just happening at awards shows.
We’ve just finished watching the President’s State of the Union address and we’re digesting the various Republican responses. Before you can say “bipartisan,” Netflix’s program House of Cards had its own rebuttal. Or at least the lead character, Frank Underwood, did.
On the one hand, the SOTU is serious business. Throughout the speech, Twitter lit up with tweets about the President’s points on climate change, immigration, equal pay, benefits for members of the military, and other issues.
