Google Continues to Dominate 'Best Places to Work' List

And this isn't changing anytime soon.

For the seventh time at No. 1, Google/Alphabet makes all other companies resolute at reaching for No. 2 on Fortune’s “Best Places to Work” list.

On the list for the past decade, Google continues to show other companies how to major in retention, work productivity, and admiration. It starts with the workers, not the work.

If you put your employees in a place that makes them regret going home, odds are they will work longer. So, Google flipped the script on everyone and built a temple (in any location where they have an office) dedicated to fun.

One Googler shared an experience with Fortune like this:

“The company culture truly makes workers feel they’re valued and respected as a human being, not as a cog in a machine.
