Boston PR Agency Suffers Setback In Effort To Block Massachusetts Wind Farm
The Obama administration approved the construction of a 130-turbine wind energy farm in Nantucket Sound last week, dubbed Cape Wind. The image at left shows a simulated view of the wind farm from Centerville, MA.
However, a local opposition group, the Alliance To Protect Nantucket Sound, is moving to kill the project via legal means. The group is working with Boston public relations firm O’Neill & Associates, the agency confirmed to PRNewser.
The alliance’s communications manager, Patty Dineen, told PRNewser today the group will retain O’Neill & Associates moving forward.
