Words With Friends leads this week’s list of fastest-growing Facebook games by DAU

Zynga returns to the top of our list of fastest-growing Facebook games by Daily Active Users this week as Words With Friends adds impressive 1.4 million DAU week-over-week. The game has been growing steadily since November, when it incorporated an ad-based viral mechanic borrowed from its original iOS incarnation, but the game has had a couple of clear boosts in the past few days, gaining users directly after Christmas and New Years.
