Enterprise marketing technology provider Unified released the latest quarterly update to its Social Operating Platform Wednesday, unveiling the winter 2013 edition at the Montgomery Technology Conference in Santa Monica, Calif.
Unified said additions to the winter 2013 edition of its SOP include an upgraded Minilytics application that allows Facebook page administrators to identify their posts that are performing the strongest, decide which ones would be suitable as sponsored stories, and narrow down their targeting.
The new edition of SOP also adds support for advertising on location-based mobile app Foursquare.
Unified Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer Jason Beckerman said:
We continue to focus on bringing the most innovative social marketing capabilities to brands and agencies. Facebook news feed optimization is becoming the No. 1 method of interacting with fans around the world, and we are on the forefront of this trend, helping customers engage consumers both on the desktop and across all mobile devices.
Nick Adler, vice president of branding at The Cashmere Agency and Stampede Management, added:
Understanding what and how to engage with social audiences is a major challenge when managing a global entertainment icon such as Snoop Dogg. Unified’s Minilytics and Social Operating Platform give us the tools to decide in real-time how best to reach Snoop’s 23 million Facebook fans with both organic content and paid advertising — all in one simple console.
