Caroline Wolter Starke has joined APCO Worldwide as a VP. She previously specialized in corporate reputation building and issues management at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery Strategic Communications.

Stefanie Henning has joined Berkleemusic, the online continuing education division of Berklee College of Music, as CMO. Henning is the former SVP of global marketing and new media for Fox Television Studios, a division of News Corp.

The Lippin Group has promoted Cassy Salyer to VP of the firm. Salyer leads the online and social media initiatives for corporate entertainment, digital media and lifestyle brands.

Joe Carberry has joined the Brunswick Group as a partner in the San Francisco office, PRWeek reports. Carberry was previously president of the western region for MSLGroup. He was also head of global affairs at Visa during its IPO.

Deadline Hollywood reports that Matthew Hiltzik, former head of comms for Miramax, will be handling media strategy for the Gold Coast Film Festival, launching in Great Neck, NY in June.

Emilie Schaum has joined Lippe Taylor as director of HR. Schaum has 20 years of HR experience in advertising, PR, media, and other areas.
