Revamp for Slate V

Washington Post Newsweek Interactive’s Slate revamped its Slate V video site, adding a wide-screen video player, quicker loading times, a user-friendly search feature and an enhanced “Did You See This” section.

The redesigned Slate V showcases its top five offerings via an advancing carousel, and the homepage features billboard-style images, as well as channel pages, to help users more easily find the video content they are seeking.

Slate V will also debut a new weekly series soon in which Slate chief political correspondent John Dickerson chooses three insider stories from the world of politics, produced in collaboration with CBS News.

Executive editor Andy Bowers said:

Our videos have struck a chord with a wide audience, and we believe this revamping of our site will make the viewing experience much more enjoyable.
