Casual game developer PlayStudios has announced plans to bring its popular Facebook game MyVegas Slots to mobile devices. The game was made in partnership with MGM Resorts International, and offers players the chance to earn real world rewards for use in Las Vegas resorts over time.
MyVegas Slots gives players free chips and allows them to use those chips in a variety of original and themed slot machines. Via the game’s affiliation with MGM Resorts International, the game contains machines based on the Excalibur, Mirage, New York, New York and more.
With each spin, players earn experience points relative to the number of coins they bet on that spin, with each machine coming with bonus games and opportunities to win big. Players can change their betting amount per line, and can use auto-spin to let the game continue to progress automatically.
As players continue to spend in-game coins (which can be purchased with real-world money), they’ll earn Loyalty Points that can be turned into free meals, tickets, snacks, souvenirs, hotel rooms and more in the partner resorts.
MyVegas Slots will be released on iOS, Android and Kindle devices this November.
MyVegas Slots was first released on Facebook in July 2012. The game continues to grow, and has over 715,000 monthly active users, according to our app tracking service AppData. The app has over 310,000 daily players. It’s available to play for free on Facebook.
