Well, Paul Smith, more commonly known by @twitchhiker, traveled from England to New Zealand using only social media, and relying on his new “friends” to put him up for the night, feed him a meal and give him a ride to his next destination. In Mediabistro’s latest “Hey, How’d You Do That?” interview, Smith talks about his original inspiration and how he got a book deal from it:
