A new social networking site is aimed at helping baby boomers maintain an active lifestyle. ActiveEmptyNesters.com is offering every student who graduated from school or college before 1978 the chance to reunite with their classmates for free.
If you would like to organize a reunion or just get back in touch with some of your old friends, ActiveEmptyNesters.com can help you. And, unlike sites that offer similar services, members can join and participate for free.
“This is the perfect way for classmates to reconnect without paying a fee to join,” said Ronald Mercier, creator of the free website. “I recently discovered that my High School class was having difficulty in locating classmates. Creating a group on ActiveEmptyNesters.com will help them communicate with every member using just a simple post announcing the event.”
The new site says organizing a class reunion couldn’t be easier. I don’t know about that. When has organizing a group of former High School classmates been easy?
The platform purports that interested members simply create a private group and can immediately begin inviting former classmates using one of the many free email tools available to the organizer. Once approved by the group’s organizer, membership in the group will allow the member to post photos and comments, create and participate in discussion groups, and share videos and events. And, it doesn’t cost a thing – except time.
Once registered, members can begin setting up their personal profile, inviting friends to events, and communicating with old and new friends alike through the site’s built-in social-networking features.
