Facebook To Subsidize, Help Design New Substation For Menlo Park Police Department
Facebook is assisting the Menlo Park (Calif.) Police Department in its establishment of a new substation in the Belle Haven neighborhood, just 0.3 miles from the social network’s headquarters.

Menlo Park-Atherton Patch reported that the company will subsidize the cost of renting the space, and it will also help design the new substation.
Chief of Police Robert Jonsen told Patch Facebook employees reached out upon hearing that the department was seeking an improvement over its existing substation, adding:
We want the new substation to be a place where people of all ages can feel comfortable.
